“Redemption” – 99 word Flash Fiction

The beads of sweat glistened on her forehead as sucked the air in between
her clenched teeth and exhaled slowly while attempting the task at hand yet
again. The error message flashed gleefully at her once again, the gremlins
in the works taunting her from behind the computer screen. The damp patches under her arms spread.

“Why is it so hard to claim what’s rightfully mine” she cried, doubting her earlier impulsive action for the
umpteenth time that day.

“On-line daily deals might have made a lot of goods and services cheaper, but redeeming the voucher can be a bitch” she cursed.
